Does a physical environment of a person have an effect on the amount of crime in that area ?

Once again YES !

There is more crime in poorer areas and  council estates than there is in rich areas because there is more money in the richer areas so nothing is needed to be stolen or shop lifted etc.

would you rather live in the picture above (rich town?) or the picture below (council estate?) ?
