Does gender have an effect on the amount of crime ?

Men are more than nine times more  likely to commit crime than women and about 70% of UK imprisonments are men and that leaves only 30% as women.

But why ?

Men have a hormone in there body called testosterone which can almost take over and make you do stupid things whereas women on the other hand tend to have a more calm Ora  and also may have kids so love is there and prevention from the children using up so much of the parents time so  therefor committing less crimes  !!
